How the Red Army Won the Second World War
HGW Davie gained a MA History at the University of Wolverhampton and is currently Visiting Research Fellow at the East Centre, University of East Anglia. His main area of study is the logistics of the Red Army 1921-1945, with a particular interest in how supply and transport determined the mobility of the field army and interaction with both the high command and the civilian economy. He has had eight papers published on this subject in the Journal of Slavic Military Studies and one in the Journal of the British Commission for Military History.
