Duncan Bowie is a historian and town planner. He is a research associate of University College London and currently co-chair of the Socialist History Society. His recent books include Reform and Revolt in the City of Dreaming Spires (2018) and The Radical and Socialist Tradition in British Planning (2017). He has also contributed to several SHS publications.
